Sales Associate

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries and offer solutions in a courteous and professional manner
Follow up with customers to identify and support their needs
Promote customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer support
Review and follow up on order reports on a daily basis

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for monitoring the condition of products on display and working with the merchandising department to present a strong corporate image which appeals to the store’s target market.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all merchandise and accessory displays on the showroom floor
  • Arrange home furnishings and vendor displays in an attractive manner designed to enhance the appeal to purchase
  • Create and implement new and innovative merchandising strategies
  • Construct and implement visual presentation displays for promotions and events
  • Track and maintain inventory accuracy

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post secondary education in a related field would be an asset
  • Minimum 2 years visual merchandising or merchandising experience
  • Strong understanding of visual display, set-up and accessory sales
  • Ability to visualize three-dimensional settings
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings and weekends, as required

Warehouse / Merchandising Associate

As a Warehouse / Merchandising Associate, you are the strength that supports The Brick, demonstrating your enthusiasm while upholding the highest of safety standards in all that you do. You are team oriented, enjoy working with others, and thrive in a constantly changing and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Moving and lifting of product
  • Attach price tags & promotions to displays
  • Unload trailers, organize stock, assemble & wrap furniture
  • Assist customers and store staff with issues and questions regarding product

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a merchandising or customer service environment
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Mindfulness of safe material handling procedures and techniques
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an asset
  • Warehouse experience operating equipment is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
