Starbucks Jobs

Starbucks is an American chain of coffee shops. It is headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Starbucks takes its name from the character named Starbuck in Moby Dick and its symbol is a mermaid. The first Starbucks store was opened in 1971 by teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Gordon Bowker and writer Zev Siegel in the place known as Pike Place Market. Investor Howard Schultz also joined the partnership in 1982 and, influenced by Italian espresso bars, founded the II Giornale coffee shops chain in 1985. A few years later, when the first owners of Starbucks bought Peet’s Coffee and Tea store, they transferred Starbucks to Shultz. Thus, Shultz’s II Giornale coffee shops continued to serve under the name Starbucks. Starbucks opened its first stores in Vancouver, British Columbia and Chicago. Starbucks’ first store outside of North America opened in Tokyo, Japan, in 1996. As of 28 June 2015, Starbucks is the world’s number one company in the purchase and roasting of coffee, with over 30,000 stores in 65 countries.

Since it is the number one coffee chain in the world, it has certain standards and therefore regularly recruits personnel to meet these standards. Generally, the firm, which makes entry-level purchases, makes both periodic and part-time purchases, but generally makes full-time purchases. The company, which provides training for all its staff, is not looking for much experience. The company, which also offers job opportunities for students, wants its employees to have high communication skills and to be friendly and meticulous.
