Sales Associate

The Sales Associate reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating sales, and participating in all the essential duties required for the effective day-to-day operation of the store, including the support of all visual and brand directives.

The Sales Associate is at the center of all store activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the cash register. He/she is a dependable team player with a keen eye for detail, solid math skills, and the ability to maintain a balanced cash register.

When acting as Manager on Duty, the Keyholder oversees the sales and customer service in the store.  He/She leads by example in providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating brand selling skills in order to maximize sales and optimize the customer experience in the store.

He/She ensures that all elements of the Groupe Dynamite brand image and visual presentation requirements are understood and adhered to by the team.

Stock Support Associate

The Support Associate is responsible to provide support to the team to maximize productivity and minimize loss. Areas of responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, supporting inventory management, supporting visual execution, cash desk efficiency and customer service.

The Support associate participates in inventory management activities, such as organizing the stockroom in compliance with company standards, ensuring shipment is accurately scanned within 15 minutes of arrival, and processing shipment to floor-ready standards in a timely manner. The support associate also participates in Cash desk responsibilities by executing all POS transactions and activities accurately and in an efficient manner as per Company policy and procedures, reducing losses due to error and fraud.

Visual Assistant

The Visual Assistant reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for participating in all essential duties that contribute to the store’s efficient and profitable operation, with a focus on brand and visual presentation standards.

As a Visual Assistant, you will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to motivate, coach, and mobilize the team to provide superior customer service and achieve/exceed financial goals. Together with the Management team, you execute all merchandising/marketing directives and product management strategies. As Manager on Duty, you drive sales, supervise employees, and assume responsibility for all store operations. You are responsible for achieving the individual KPI targets established by the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • High school diploma and fashion merchandising certification are assets.
  • 1 year of visual merchandising experience and at least 1 year of management experience, preferably in the fashion retail industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, delegate and follow up.
  • Strong emotional discipline.

Store Manager

The Store Manager reports to the District Sales Supervisor and is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the store, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

The Store Manager provides ongoing leadership, thereby ensuring that the store achieves and/or surpasses its financial goals, while controlling budgets, inventory, shrink, expenses and wage costs. He/She inspires, coaches, motivates, develops and evaluates the team in order to achieve maximum performance and optimize the customer experience in the store.

The Store Manager leads by example in providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating brand selling skills. He/She ensures that the store operates in compliance to Brand and Visual presentation standards, as well as all Company policies and procedures. He/She works closely with the District Sales Supervisor and provides feedback to help in decision making and driving business results.

Qualifications and competencies

  • 3 years retail experience with a minimum of 2 years management experience;
  • High school diploma post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset;
